Overview
Sage Supply Chain Intelligence (formerly Anvyl) is a cloud-based supply chain execution platform purpose-built for small and mid-sized consumer brands. Acquired by Sage in 2024, it focuses on the first mile of the supply chain — the period from purchase order creation through warehouse delivery. It is used primarily by operations, procurement, and supply chain teams at product-based businesses in industries like consumer goods and CPG.
The platform centralizes purchase order management, supplier collaboration, and production milestone tracking. Teams can issue and manage POs, configure customizable milestone workflows (such as PO confirmation, production start, shipment readiness, and delivery), and receive automated alerts when orders fall behind schedule. Supplier scorecards track metrics like on-time delivery and responsiveness, and all communications and documentation — including packing lists, invoices, and compliance certificates — are tied directly to each purchase order.
Logistics teams commonly rely on this platform for end-to-end PO lifecycle data, production status updates, supplier performance metrics, and order-level documentation. It is designed to complement an existing ERP rather than replace one, serving as the operational layer where supply chain execution data — milestone dates, quantities confirmed and shipped, and order exceptions — is captured and acted on in real time.
